WPI has partnered with Pfizer to deliver a Master of Science in Biotechnology. This skills-based, non-thesis program meets the needs of Pfizer professionals with coursework designed to achieve the below student-based learning objectives:

  • Integrate broad knowledge of fundamental and applied science of molecular biology and biochemistry in their role as a professional scientist or engineer
  • Demonstrate expertise in modern laboratory and bio-production techniques applicable to the biotechnology industry
  • Leverage the collaborative and interdisciplinary nature of the biotech industry 
  • Effectively engage in cross-functional decisions with management, development, operations, and regulatory affairs
  • Understand how to apply industry regulations and best practice to ensure quality
